Saiks,
This is exactly the case. The Labour department is the most useless department in this country
.You will be sup rice that a lot of the sackings that are made especially within the tourist
industry are done on the advice of the labour department. Most of these things come to light
when the managers are confronted just to say that they have been advice by the labour
department .Depending on the labour union also is a problem as most of them besides Pa Modou
Faal ( BUGA LEKKA) are not credible .Just look at who they are and what they have done in the
past and that gives you the answer that they just turn to the unions just for their survival
.Could you believe that when the senior managers where been question a representative of one
of the unions and the NIA were present ? The law says that the employee has to bring his or
her representative and not the other way round. We have a long way to go. May ALLAH HELP US
.AMEN

CHI JAMMA.
