My take on Kebba Jobe.
"My chosen name is Kebba Jobe. I am A FORTY SOMETHING year old
man from The Gambia. I am a well educated person and I have
four Kids. In my country, we have a Government that has made
many blunders like killing school kids, buying electoral votes,
intimidating the citizens, killing others, jailing some and
threathing to bury others six feet deep. The president of my
country is a high school graduate and had no further schooling
except for a two year stint at a millitary school in usa.

I am an engineer by profession and a senior civil servant
working for my country. Despite
 all the blunders and killings,
this government has built many schools, hospitals, roads and the
president is on record to even give part of his own personal
money to his supporters;(money that God gave him).

What my opponents dont understand is that I am not related to
Dumo, Lalo or any of the civilians or soldiers killed. On the
murder of those school kids, none of my kids was involved and
none of my relatives'kids were involve either. How do they
expect me to understand. Besides, the roads and hospitals are
much more important than the lives of those killed so I wount
even dwell on that.

My opponents ought to understand that as long as yaya does not
lay his hands on me, I am Ok and I will continue to expound
his noble deeds for this country.

Call me incons
cionable if you will, but we all have our
priorities. Mine is the roads, schools, hospitals. We are working
on having qualified teachers and doctors. besides, this regime is
only seven years old. In america, the president has up to eight
years. I am well aware of the atrocities and misguided
government, but i have my priorities."

This is what Kebba Jobe ha been saying to us all along. His
day will come.

Alagie L Barrow
