Sanusi,

Sorry I wasn't able to your question earlier, but I think you're asking me
the wrong question. I did agree to Yama's postulation about the party
structure being multi-faceted, but I also posed a question whether we know
if there are motives for this. That I don't have an answer to.

We should not polish it up for the man coz he's the one that erred, NOT me.
What if there was a Jola who probably left all of there commitments for the
day to attend this meeting. Are you telling me it's ok that he walks away
without a clue of what was said? We just can't polish this one properly.
And with all the support given to the opposition (UDP especially) on this
forum by many of you, not for once have you heard from the party leader, not
even a thank you note. And they probably got higher modem connections than
Halifa's. The UDP party's trip was nothing more than a vacation/fund seeking
drive to me. We must learn to be fair in our judgements, judgements of
oneself and of each other. Not to drag this any further, I believe that
Halifa is a better leader than ALL the other presidential candidates. We
need a leader, someone who doesn't have to be right at all times, but one
that can take blame for mishaps or at least explain their blunders.

In the absence of any further discussions on this topic, I will respectfully
rest my case and move on.

Essa
