Well,. I support them too because of the success of a local team here in Washington Dc area with the same
name in  Alexandria Va.,

some history behind the name:-
( during the high school days of the early seventies The Titans of TC William's High School had the best
football team in the whole region and  they were one of the first all white school to allow black students to
play on the football team (believe it or not- blacks were bussed to that school then and there was a lot of
resistance and demonstrations against that decision by the KKK in our area. )
Tempus Fugit -Time flies- that  was just less than thirty years ago.
History was in the making then. Now Alexandria is a different town and more tolerant in housing , jobs and
human relations . Those HS kids are now in the local government and make all the difference.
