Churchill Baldeh, the majority leader of the National Assembly, said President Yahya Jammeh will rule for the next 20 years.

Mr Baldeh, in an interview with the Daily Observer yesterday, said the 2006 Presidential election is a mere formality as the APRC will win.

According to Mr Churchill Baldeh, the just concluded tour of the country by the APRC has indicated that the ten years? Vigorous development efforts of the APRC have made the people realized the best way for them. He said the Soma- Madinaba roadwork would soon restart as both the co! ntractor and funds are now available.

Mr Baldeh said even if one million parties are in a coalition or alliance, the APRC will win the 2006 presidential elections. ?We are going to score close to 75% of all the votes. The opposition have never been a threat to the APRC. We are already on the ground and in the hearts and minds of the people. The coalition need to work hard to demonstrate that they have an agenda that can address the needs of the people of The Gambia. As far as I am concerned, they haven?t got that yet,?? Baldeh concluded.

ANALYSIS OF CHURCHIL BALDEH’S INTERVIEW: A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR HIM.

BINNEH S MINTEH

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY

Fellow Gambians, let us revisit Mr honorable Baldeh’s interview and ask ourselves why the Majority leader of a house should sound so unconstitutional and arrogant. It is sad that in such a civilize world where the world is changing in the interest of good governance for the interest of future generations, that a group of ignorants are trying to impose systems and structures that are outdated and outlawed by the civilize world. This is what is called outright dictatorship.

Mr. Baldeh’s interview on the daily observer should send all concern Gambians a signal that President Jammeh has an intention of hanging to Power as a King in a monarchy. It is very important for Gambia’s majority leader to revisit current global political trends and advise his house as to the best Political system that Gambia as a nation should adopt. The so call majority leader should know that liberal democracy is the dominant political ideology over all other political ideologies, therefore the fake system, they are trying to impose in the Gambia is not far from sinking.

A majority leader of a house should be production-oriented, but not carried along by selfishness and political greed. In the exercise of their functions, a majority leader and members of the entire house should be very mindful of the fact that they owe allegiance to the people and the constitution they represent but not a single soul. Even the United States of America, which has the world’s best democracy known to mankind, congress respects the constitution and adheres to the will of the people. Presidential terms are limited to a two-term limit of four years

Mr. Baldeh should know that he is not a God who can decide the faith of The Gambia as a nation. It is disappointing that the speaker of the house has changed from being a moderate to supporting decadence, arrogance, incompetence and lawlessness. My message to MR Majority leader is to back down and don’t let himself carried along by selfishness.

Fellow Gambians, our team of experts have uncovered Jammeh’s Plan’s to steal the next coming election and this is why Mr Baldeh is so confident that Yaya Jammeh will rule for the next 20 years. We are currently busy circulating this forty page document from our insiders of the IEC to cubicles and avenues all of the world. In my next article Gambians will know how the APRC plans to steal the coming elections.

LONG LIVE FREEDOM AND ALL FREEDOM LOVING PEOPLE

                     LONG LIVE THE GAMBIA
