El Hadjj:
Joe has said that you defended Ebou a while back on the "Voice Out" opinion
forum. Ebou has also said that you know him very well. Which one of these
claims is untrue? If Joe's allegations are correct, then you have not been
truthful about your being unaware of the real deal as it concerns the Swiss
bank Yahya and Ebou saga. VoiceOut has been dead in the water for about two
years ago and way before your appearance on this list. This would directly
contradict your claim to have not known about the Ebou/Jammeh/Swiss saga
until you joined this list.

You see Kotu, I hate hypocrites, especially those that hide behind the guise
of Islam to further their lies. And forgive me for saying this, but I have
reviewed your posts extensively on this forum. In fact, to the chagrin of my
boss here, I have spent all morning reviewing the thousands of postings on
the St. John's server, leading me to a few conclusions, none of which bode in
your favor:

1. You categorically dismissed the PPP regime as one which looted the
Gambian coffers and one which was not worthy of reuniting with the UDP and
GDP to mount a challenge against the ruling APRC. However, in your post
entitled <A HREF="http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/CGI/wa.exe?A2=ind0008&L=gambia-l&D=0&m=10123&P=3920">My view about the situation </A>posted on Wed 2 Aug 2000, you opened
your piece by extolling the virtues of the PPP led government, yet when time
for the Alliance came about you emphatically condemned the PPP as a bunch of
crook etc.

2. I also could not help but notice the way Ebou has patronized you in past
exchanges between you too on the L. The way Ebou has treated you is one of
the reasons why you chose to turn a blind eye to his churlish and
disrespectful behavior toward concerned Gambian, not to speak of his
pilfering of over 45 Million Dalasis. To me this is the same type of
attitude which is and was responsible for endemic corruption back home.
People know the deal, but because of personal relationships, friendships and
family ties, they choose to ignore the truth. You are propagating the same
philosophy here and this is absolutely shameful.

In conclusion, I am still of the assertion that we have to unmask the
religious hypocrites who do not speak the truth, yet claim to be righteous
men of God. IMO, you do not fall too far from this category of charlatan and
fakir. This is my personal opinion and God help me if I am wrong. And
please do me a favor, and keep the family stuff out of this, I could care
less about such patronizing tactics.

As for Ebou, he may keep on talking. He is nothing but a "Satchakat" and one
day soon he will have to account to us for his misdeeds.
