Ebou,
Even among the lowest of the low, so-called society's scumbags, there is a
code of conduct(an unwritten law)! Check drug traffickers, prostitutes,
pimps, in-mates, serial killers, rapists, you name it! Amongst themselves,
they try to cover each others' back. They swear...'i am my
brother's/sister's keeper'. When they fall apart they TRY their best NOT to
wash each others' dirty linen in public!

Ebou, Jemus was your BUDDY! You fell apart and what did you do? Dished out
one horrible tale after the other to anybody who cared to listen. Those were
the words and actions of a frightened little boy. A man on the other hand
would have taken full responsibility, explained the WHOLE TRUTH(instead of
half truths), and apologized to the Gambian people. When Jemus was 'elected'
for another 5 year period, the little boy and self interest decided to give
it another shot. After Georgetown University to be received with open arms
at Banjul International Airport with an appointment letter: 'Vice President
of The Republic of The Gambia'.

Ebou if the UDP had won the elections would you still come on Gambia-L in
this new clothing of yours apologizing and telling everybody what you
earlier said was ' an error of words'? I guess then it would have been a
different tune; sounding more like...

" Here am i, all ready to collaborate and work with the new UDP gov. I have
been striving for justice to be done."

Ebou Jallow, there is a clear distinction between sheer opportunism and
being genuinely repentant! People who have 'Jom'( Ee kamalou) down their
spine NEVER mistake two. After the recent APRC 'victory' Gambia-L has
witnessed face volt, not just from president Wade. I read archive files and
wonder how some people excel in licking their own nausea, turn around and
tell us: 'that was fresh chakri'!

A sickening trait about people who go public as you did/are still doing, is,
trying to stand out as 'innocent' and 'clean'. If you were the
'jambarr'(hero) you addressed yourself why didn't you risk your life or even
a limb and demand an investigation into Koro Cessay's death? Why didn't you
say NO to all those atrocities inflicted on our citizenry?

I cannot and will not claim that i would have stood up to Jemus, Edward and
Yankuba, if i were in your shoes! No, maybe i would have been shaking with
fear(for my life) like a guava leaf( cold-blooded murders like the one you
explained in the Koro Ceesay case used to be foreign to us as Gambians). But
Ebou Jallow i would feel too ashamed to portray myself as a 'Jambarr',
narrate some half-truths and consciously down-play my cowardice. Personally,
i think it is a great shame and cowardly washing your friends' 'dross' in
public but when it mattered you stayed mute....The moment when you arrived
from Tripoli and had audience with Jemus and Barjo was the moment you should
have "RAISED YOUR VOICE FOR JUSTICE OR FOREVER STAY MUTE!

You have insulted gay people for their sexual preference, totally missing
the point: The crux, NOT who they choose to sleep with in the privacy walls
of a room, but the ideals they stand for(or not stand for)! Justice, The
Truth, Equality, Democracy, Honesty...

Mullah Ebou, until you are ready to tell the Gambian people the whole truth
and nothing but the truth, followed by an apology, my advice is keep quiet!
