Toma, Tom:

I'm glad to have shared this information for one way or the other, all US
residents (legal or otherwise) and possiblythe rest of the world shall be
affected by Chartoff's proposed tightened crackdown on illegal workers.
Since the death of the CIR, Bush will tend to show a hard hand on
immigration to pre-empt resurgence of the debate on immigration reform,
which some critics see as scare mongering knowing the realities of
American's daily needs of clean batrooms, affordable fresh produce, food
services etc..
The resultant economic impact will not spare our pockets/ATM/Debit/Credit
cards. Many services, housing, groceries, goods etc. will be directly
affected by increased crackdown on illegal hirings for majority of the labor
to keep these industries on the roll are of illegal workers. Here is another
interesting article on this important issue:

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-garment11aug11,1,823528.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

And I suggest you lay your hands on a movie called "A day without a Mexcian"
for a more interesting perspective.

Cheers,

-Laye
