HEART PATIENT NEEDS HELP
Fatou Mboob,21 is soliciting assistance form the public spirited individuals
and organisations to enable her undergo heart treatment overseas.
Ms. Mboob told Daily Observer that she has been suffering form Rheumatic
heart disease for a long time and that she has been taking treatment from
RVH.  "Now that the condition is getting serious and the facilities to treat
me aren't available in The Gambia, my doctor advised me to go for an
overseas treatment," she said.  A medical report on her states that Fatou
suffers form severe heart disease with cardiac murmurs, including aortic
miral and stenosis incompetence.   The report further states that Fatou also
suffers from cardiomegaly with ventericular hypertrophy because of rheumatic
valvular disease and needs extensive treatment, which should include
valvular replacement.  She is booked to be seen by the cardiologist at Guys
Hospital, London and her treatment will cost between 5000 and 6000 pounds
