Sanusi,

I just don't believe this letter was written by Richards. It cannot be! That would be tragic indeed.

I think even if the GBA believes that Richards wrote the letter they should not get mad enough at him to abandon their stance against injustice in The Gambia. This case is not only about Moses richards. This is about the people who have the resposibilty of making sure justice is carried out fairly in Gambia. They are standing up for this principle and must be steadfast about it until rule of law and justice prevails under their care. They need to lead Gambians by example and that is what they are doing; albeit a bit late. These sort of stuff has been happening too many times and for too long. But, better late than never.

In case this letter was actually writen by Richards all I can say is that he is very very desperate and does not have any sort of integrity and virtue. Desparation should not compel him to become the laughing stock of serious people.

Having known Moses Richards for a very long time , It will be a huge surprise that he wrote that letter. In a nutshell, the language used in that letter is not that of Moses' style.

Well, I still salute the likes of Femi Peters, Mariam Denton who despite their stint at Mile II prison stood firm to their principles.

What! Is Richard being impersonated or is he just another typical Gambian elite?

Dearest Lamin,

Thanks for keeping up with fire and being around with us. On the above, Mboge was also speaking for me.

I recalled Mboge's take when his sister was arrested in the Gambia.

Thanks for your lines always and I take great inspiration in you and many like you.

Kind Regards with love,

Yero

Good points, but I hope Mboge reconsiders the bit about giving up.

If you and I join Mboge, where do we go as a country

Can you see why we desperately need a united front to end this absolute madness?

Bro Mboge,

As if by coincidence, I have little to add to what you just stated.

As if wonders will never cease to happen, we've seen again, the selfish nature of our people.

I have no doubt that his voice is a desparate voice, one strictly born out of frustration, but with all that, how can one ever get so low like Moses has gone?

Even if he realized he was wrong, there is a way he can admit to it without having to resort to begging Jammeh or humuliating his peers. It is a total failure that a man of his calibre should beg for justice dispensation from Jammeh as if he don't believe in the rule of law and the Gambian constitution. It again makes clear for all and sundry that the Gambian justice system is in the hands of Yaya Jammeh. So sad!!!

I only hope the Fankungs and the other APRC supporters are not playing a prank out of everything and that Moses Richards is the author of such a piece....I am scared!

Absolute madness. Gambia has a very long way to go. These victimised lot are always ready to sacrifice those fighting their corner, be they family or colleagues by appealling to the dastardly conscience of a dictator and a tyrant who cares about nobody except himself.

For me, i have given up on these so-called struggles for emancipation. I careless if my family or otherwise is being terrorised by Jammeh. These very people one believes to be in solidarity with are the very people due to cowardice will blame you for their plight instead ofthe bloody regime's shenanigans.

I rather concentrate on my kids and msyelf rather than breaking any sweat for a struggle where people lie and work very hard to discredit each others effort for no bloody reason.

What a bloody disappointment this Moses Richard is, even if the Bar Association has been toothless, this current gesture of their's is symbolically strong. But cowardly behaviour of the very one on whose behalf this gesture is being taken is underminding their efforts.

Chem,

Mboge
