Burang, as if that is not bad enough, the rice was also donated. Something
that was supposed to be free to the hungry masses. What happened to the
rest of the country that are subsidizing the Fonis? We can't even protest
against segregation? You see, Gambians need to be pissed off first before
they think about booting these criminals out. Not even murders, massacres,
illegal detention and tortures will make us say enough is enough. If we
really wanted these criminals out, they'd be out by now. We know what needs
to be done but are not willing to do it because of fear. If folks rise up
and demand better, they will get better and much more. However, everyone is
waiting it out for someone else to stand up and be the first and only one to
go to jail. How long are we going to keep being afraid. Some of us that
are thousands of miles away are also afraid to speak up. If we do not speak
up, who will? The key to our freedom is in our hands. The problem is we
are paralyzed by fear and will be in bondage until we stand up.
