Well Mr Samura,

I think you miss the point I was  trying to make. The issue is not whether
the land is bought or just acquired from inheritance, the point is that the
way land is made available to people is not uniform. Some have to buy if they
need a place to settle their families, and others hold large parcels from
which they can just get an allocation. Hopethat clarifies my point.

Regarding government's and private enterprise involvement in land matters,
that is another issue altogether. I am just talking about the interest of
ordinary Gambians who just want a place to raise their families.
