Brothers Oko and Elhajj,

Sir lamin's passing away is indeed very shocking. I learnt of it earlier
today when I called home and have been depressed since. He was a next door
neighbour and big brother to me. His house was always full with youth at any
given time of the day. It's as if I can still see his ready smile,
characterised by his big dimples. The last time I saw him was in Stockholm
in the mid eighties; I was unlucky enough to miss him by a few minutes when
I visited Hurst St. during my trip back home, being told by his brother,
Gibou that Sir had just left. He will surely be missed by many. I extend my
heart-felt condolence to the Drammeh and Jallow families

May His Soul Rest In Eternal Peace!

Regards,

Kabir.
