Mr. Alieu Keita or whoever you are,

Let's set the record straight.  I did not appeal to anyone for any reason but
that doesn't mean I appreciate the name calling you and others started on the
list.  Let's agree to disagree and debate respectfully.  Sending a warning
message that we've seen from a "Yahya Jammeh" doesn't help either.  Warning or
threatening people only aggravates the situation.  Lets just stick to the point
and get on with it but CIVILITY is a must if we want to maintain Gambia-l's
integrity.

Ebrima Ceesay, KB, Lamine Conteh, Hamjatta, Katim, George & the whole gang keep
up the good job you are doing.  We need to be informed about our motherland.  I
for one, appreciate all your hard work and dedication but please lets keep it
clean and stick to the facts.

A lot of Jammeh supporters may see Gambia-l as an anti Jammeh forum but it is
not, atleast that wasn't the intention when the group was formed.  Each and
every Gambian (including Yahya Jammeh) is entitled to voice their opinions but
let's do it in a civilze and respectful manner and stop threatening peoples
lives.  We all cannot agree on everything, that's just life period!

We have a lot of work ahead of us, so let's not be detracted from the common
good.  Long live The Gambia!  Lastly, please go easy on the list managers, we're
not trying to censor but trying to maintain calm and order on the list.  We are
all adults and I trust we can be responsible, but RESPONSIBILITY must start with
President Jammeh to the last member of the list.
