Subject: MAYOR OF BANJUL RAMADAN DECREE

The Mayor of Banjul His Lordship Samba Faal issued a decree yesterday banning
all palatable dishes except
<bennachin> for the ramadan. He has appointed Bai Ndongo Fall , Pa Alhasan
Jagne and Uncle Batch Jeng as
inspectors. Not Suprisingly Mamour Jagne wrote a letter protesting on the Mayors
decree insisting that he
cant do away with his pour age but his plea was not considered valid .We expect
more protest letters coming
from the Joben"s but Mayor Faal loves his benachin and will not bow down to any
pressure from the Citizens
of Banjul this time. Blessed Ramadan to all of you especially to The Faals,
Jobes, Jengs and Jagnes.

Chi Jamma,
Bro. Tejan.
