Greetings all, I have received my second dog from Leader Dogs for the Blind and am currently in training with her. My first dog, Abby, has been retired, meaning she is no longer working (this does not mean that she has been put to sleep, she is still very much living, Alhamdulillah).

My second dog is named Chloe, she is a feamle Labrador/Golden retriever cross, although I think she is 3/4 Yellow Lab. She has mostly Yellow Lab characteristics. Although she has slightly longer hair than a Yellow Lab would, and I think she may have some other Golden Retriever characteristics in her body shape, though I'm not sure, I'll have to ask. But she looks an awful lot like a Yellow Lab to me, or at least a Lab anyway.

At any rate, we have begun working togehter (we did obstacle training today, where you and the dog work around obstacles that have been put in your path). Sunday is an off day so I'll be sleeping lol.

And we start back with training on Monday, Inshallah.

Anyway, Chloe is a wonderful dog, very happy, but not as boisterous and stubborn as Abby was when I first got her.

Anyway, not sure if Chloe will ever travel internationally as Abby did, but she has the ability to do it, though, given her happy and stress-free demeanor.

Anyway, take care everyone. Am going to sleep now, it's been a long day.

Ginny
