Thanks for your input . You have some valid points but on the part of returning the money back to the people - How can that be done if one of the parties is dead  or even better if both have been deseaced / maybe the secondary view of spending in education , mosques ,water wells etc or even orphans  could be done by the sourving spouses or children of the one who received the RIBA in the first place. But as far as reposed homes are concerned I think they should be returned to the original owners or his sourving family  , otherwise this mortal sin will hang continously on  the person who took the interest in the first place ( or his successors)

I discussed this with a scholar who likened Riba to (excuse  me ladies) the equivalent of sleeping with your own mother - that is how bad and serious it is in the eyes of God .

 Saving your money for your childrens education and getting some interest on it is not a bad thing as I was told no one gets hurt by it as your child will positively benefit from his or her education and subsiquently help others.



By the way Ousman , are you in the US . If so next time you come to DC I will take you to a place of historic interest relating to Black history in the US   .
