Hi Angelika,

Two research centers were involved in the development of the vaccine:
SmithKline Beecham (http://www.sb.com for more info.) and the US Defense
Department's Walter Reed Army Institute of research. By the way, the
latter is the second most important agent in US governments effort to
develop an HIV vaccine.
