<< I forgot to post the death of Jalli Amadou Bansang Jobarteh of Birkama
which sad event occurred last week. Jalli Amadou was a living library
and one of best kora players the smiling coast ever produced. His long
series of programme on radio Gambia with Alh Mansour Njie has thought us
a lot on the history of The Gambia. If my memory serves me right, he has
contributed one way or the other to the tune of our national anthem. Our
condolence to the Joberteh family. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
