Omar
I think you may not really understand what others are trying to put fort. I
think it will be ideal to put yourself in other peoples shoes, for you will,
and no other person will tolerate anyone to insult your parents for no
reason. Matarr might want to continue his contributions on the list but I for
one will not waste my time listening to someone constantly be insulting
his/her fellow brothers and sisters for no reason.
Having reading through so many appeals on behalf of Matarr, his recent
article condemning the list managers, and few of us supporting it, I again
ask all to see who much this list has help us (Gambians) in sharing important
views and educating each other since its inception. There is no doubt about
Matarr's helpful ideas BUT if one cannot do anything without first insulting
your fellow human beings, then I think something might be wrong. I do
remember myself receiving an insult from this man just by telling him to
refrain from insulting people for he does not know those he is insulting.
Also reminding him for the fact that the Gambia being a very small country
that we might one day meet or even be related.
I agree for the ban to be lifted for we are all bound to forgive each other
as true believers, but the brother need to apologize to his fellow brothers
and sisters he wrongfully insulted.
This is my view on this point.
Thanks and Ramadan Mubarak once again to all.
