Joe,
Many thanks for your piece on this Ebou Jallow saga,  Indeed you have
touched on the central issue in this case, which is our society's
glorification of people who steal from our own pockets.
Ebou is not the first, nor will he be the last. It is time we as a society
condemn this sort of behaviour as disgusting as it is reprehensible, whether
committed by our brothers, uncles or whosoever.
Invoking the spirit of Ramadan after committing such a heinous crime is the
limit of hypocrisy, but not atypical of the behaviour we have seen from
these sort of people. They will steal millions and embark on so called
philanthropic causes like mosque building and sending imams to Mecca, just
for praise and support from dubious opinion leaders.
In this regard, I would plead with brother Tapha, a jolly good fellow all
round, to expunge the name of Ebou Jallow among his list of good people.
There no bigger rogue on this forum than this one.
