FYI
culled from a story by "The Independent"

"There is said to be a lot of horse trading going on within the APRC camp
regarding the selection of a candidate for Kiang East. It is even alleged
that one of those who aspired to contest for the APRC in that constituency
had to withdraw when his mother threatened to commit suicide if he contested
on an APRC ticket. Therefore, according to our source, the APRC is still
searching for a candidate for constituency."
