Folks,
Looks like we are going somewhere. What this sort of Briefing needs is
testimony and evidence particularly from us Gambians. It may be worth a
while for everyone directly or indirectly affected by Jammeh and his team to
put their story in writing and send it to this committee. In addition to
individual testimonies, able petition writers should go to work with our
computer wizzards to come up with one to deliver to the computers and mail
boxes of every member of the British House of Parliament. This should not be
seen as spamming. We are only trying to be loud and clear!!

Not much time but if need be previous petitions can be compiled and
delivered without difficulty. These could be followed by hardcopy delivery
of the documents preferable by the MRDG-UK during the session.

I would ask MRDG-UK to help us with email addresses of either committee
members of the committee. Also MRDG-UK should select a coordinating
committee to receive testimonies from affected individuals or organizations
from within or outside the Gambia. Getting a fax number will facilitate this
greatly.
