Free Speech TV is just now reporting that Congresswoman Maxine Waters,
Randolph Robinson of Trans Africa and a Jamaican member of Paliarment representing
the Jamaican government boarded a chartered jet in Miami to Bangui CAR to
collect President and Mrs Aristide. The Aristides' request to the Jamaican
government to allow them to come there to reflect and decide what to do next was
accepted. They have just reported that the President of CAR had to consult with
whoever he was consulting with before giving the go ahead for the Aristides to
leave. They have left CAR, and will have refuelling stops in Dakar and a second
location in the Carribbean.. Amie Goodman of FSTV is one of two reporters
accompanying the delegation, the other reporter is from the Washington post.
The Aristides say they were not allowed to leave the house where they were
staying while in CAR.
