All, the Save The Gambia Democracy Project (STGDP) now have a Post Office
box for you to send in your contributions:

P.O Box 48321
Doraville, GA 30362

Records of all contributions will be kept to the penny as usual. For
those that wish to be anonymous, just advise us and you will be assigned a
confidential number. Thanks to all those that contributed to the fund.
Your contributions helped in funding the candidacy and victory of Kemeseng
Jammeh at the recently contested Jarra West by-elections. Two thousand
dollars ($2,000) of your contributions was sent to the Alternative
leadership, in addition to the another $1,100 raised by some of the
members of the management committee and coordinators of the STGDP and two
other individuals not affiliated with the STGDP. Folks, that is people
power. We still have some cost over runs to help those on the ground with
and would appreciate any help in that vein. In the days ahead, we will
provide you with a breakdown of what was sent to our partners on the
ground in the interest of transperancy and for your review and
understanding.

Be you also informed that the road to 2006 starts with each and every one
of us that is interested in meaningful change for the Gambia. Thus,
invite yourself to STGDP and pledge in this endeavor to build a better
Gambia for all. You saw what the contributions of a few folks have done
in Jarra West. Imagine what can be achieved if all of us step up to the
plate. Ladies and gentlemen, this struggle is ours, be you a teacher,
lawyer, hairbraider, babysitter, business person, accountant, banker, or
waiter, etc. We all have a place in this struggle to liberate Gambia.
Plases help us help ourselves. More to come.
