Yesterday, I complied a small synopsis about Votergate 2004 that was intended for friends and
family.  My intention was to distribute the information to everyone for Christmas.  I couldn’t
think of a better gift than the gift of information.  Anyway, after compiling some of the major
events, I thought it would be a good idea to send a copy to WVON, a prominent Black own radio
station in Chicago.  In the email to them, I said this would be an interesting topic to discuss.
To my surprise, this morning when I turned on the radio, they (Cliff Kelly and an NBC reporter
Marian Brooks) were discussing this issue along with other topics.  This incidence indicates that
writing, compiling information and disseminating that information to independent sources is a
powerful tool to use to get your message out to the public.  I copied the information that was sent
to the radio station below for those that are interested.

Electoral College and popular vote. At the White House, Bush adviser Karen Hughes told the
president he’d lost. She knew that exit polls, because of their reliability, have often been used
by the United States to measure the legitimacy of foreign elections; indeed, the Ukraine election
was discredited on that very basis. Dick Morris, who once worked for Bill Clinton but is now a
Republican adviser, said, “Exit polls are almost never wrong.”

Hacking the vote in Lucas County

was the distribution of turnout.  The range is striking, and turnout is distinctly higher in the
Bush precincts than in the Kerry precincts.  In some precincts the reported turnout is too high to
be credible.

similar problems are discovered at home, you have to scour the Internet to find the information.
Representative John Conyers called their bluff.  He's the one leading the investigation in the
House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.  After weeks of investigation -  he's become more and
more interested in seeing the raw data of the exit polls. Exit polls were a red flag in Ukraine,
and many statistical experts have used the exit polls from our election to demonstrate a high
likelihood that there was some funny business on November 2nd.  Conyers wrote to Warren Mitofsky,
who owns the exit poll data, asking for the complete raw data, without the "real" numbers mixed in.
Mitofsky balked, saying that the TV Networks actually own it and he was not able to release it
without their permission. Conyers then took his inquiry to the leaders of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox.

Kerry to Enter Ohio Recount Fray

District of Ohio, papers in support of the Green Party/Libertarian Party recount effort.  Kerry
will be filing a request for expedited discovery regarding Triad Systems voting machines, as well
as a motion for a preservation order to protect any and all evidence discovered on this matter.
Triad Systems has come under scrutiny recently after Sherole Eaton, deputy director of elections
for Hocking County, swore out an affidavit in which she described her witnessing the tampering of
electronic voting equipment by a Triad representative.  Rep. John Conyers, the ranking minority
member of the House Judiciary Committee, has requested an investigation into this matter by the FBI
and the Hocking County prosecutor.  The evidence of election tampering in Ohio, specifically
surrounding Triad, has motivated Kerry to actively join the fight.  The Democratic Party is also
quietly putting financial resources into the Ohio recount effort.
