Unfortunately, Bush and Co want to make an example of Moussaoui.  I doubt
that the American justice system will see him put to death.  The last thing
the administration wants is to martyr these purported terrorists.  He'll
prolly do life in jail for his complicty in the attacks.

I am glad the fella (Mossaoui) does not have to stand in front of a military
tribunal, as opposed to what the lkes Zubaydh and other top Taliban and Al
Qaida honchos will face.  These military tribunals IMO are in violation of
democratic principles which allow for a free, fair and transparent trial for
everyone regardless of crime.  There was some criticsim of these tribunals
but nothing as vigorous as what is needed to challenge their
'constitutionality'.  One can only blame Sept 11 for this.

For this reason, it is extremely sad that the USA under Bush's direction can
rely on form of tribunal justice but not on the other.  But I am not
surpised; Bush has been responsible for the death of more minorities under
his watch as Texas governor than any other governor while Rumsefeld is simply
a warmonger.  Together they shall continue to skirt the rules of
international democratic principles to suit their own interests.
