There is also a very positive aspect to this whole mess, no matter how it
eventually turns out:  Americans will find it hard to be apathetic about
the voting process from now on. Many have taken their democratic rights
for granted in the past, resulting in low voter tunrout, but I doubt that
many will argue any more that "my vote doen't count."  Also, it is
exciting to see people educating themselves about the detailed workings of
the system and hearing all the spontaneous political diuscussions
talking place everywhere between perfect strangers. Best, Ylva
