Lansana,

If it happens, I will give the credit to the Gambian people because it si the
people who cast votes to elect anyone, the politicians do not elect
themselves. I hope you, me and all aspiring leaders remember that. The
politicians can promise change, but it is actually the people who are at the
receiving end of any government gone bad, and it is they who then decide to
bring about change by exercising their right to cast a ballot. Let us give
them credit for being able to think for themselves and I hope you arwe not
implying that it is the politicians who make up the people's mind for them.
A unified coalition that embraced all of the opposition parties would have
merely been a  larger compilation of these ballots, thus giving defeating
Jammeh a much better chance. Cheers.
