GSSSA Suspends St Augustine's

The Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) has suspended
St. Augustine's and St. Joseph's Senior Secondary Schools from the
Inter-Schools Athletics Championship.
According to Mr Modou Njie, Secretary General of the association, from
24 to 26 March 2006 during the last Inter-School championship,
supporters and athletes of the suspended schools put up unruly behaviour.
He stated that during the competition fans of the Saints threw bags of
urine and water at the executive members of the Gambia Athletics
Association who were officiating.
"The association will not tolerate such acts from any school," Mr Njie
added.
