Finally President Maliki yield to the pressure from Obama , the Tehran government and his own party to relinquish power wish paves the way for Haider al-Abadi to form a new government. Will Abadi be able to unify the country whose Sunnis were alienated by Maliki's divisive pro Shiite agenda, and the Yazidis who are facing genocide at hands of ISIS . How could the Shiites Kurds and Shiites forget brutalities they encountered during the Sadam era ? It will need a lot of soul searching from all the various factions . We hope they bury the hatchet
