Hello, Ebrima.  Thanks for the message.  As I have said, I think tolerance
is the best way to go.  I don't think you can set a good example of what a
Muslim should be if you cut yourself off rom others and thus do not respect
their beliefs.  I think that all intolerance does, no matter from where it
is coming, is alienates you from others, and then it makes the religion you
are representing seem bad.  I am not sure if this makes sense.  But I don't
think you can show a good example of Islam or Christianity, or whatever, if
all you do is show disrespect and intolerance to tohers just because they do
not believe as you do.
     And it is sad to say, but it seems it happens among Muslims themselves.
What happens if someone is interested in Islam, and al they see is people
arguing amongst themselves, and then saying that if you are not Muslim, you
are not as good.  Or, now that you are Muslim, you shouldhave no association
with non-Muslims?
     These are just some thoughts.  Hope I made some sense...
