I think my sister Fatoumatta is digging too much into the deal, but you are right, a curious mind must be given information that would satisfy his or her mind. No offense here. It is stated in the most positive manner. In fact, most important to notify people we don’t have any relation outside online forums, surprisingly. I thank her for giving us this rare opportunity to be even ‘accountable’ for our relationship. Not to blow sister Fatoumatta’s touch on your title ‘uncle’ from me out of proportion, here is what led to me calling you uncle.

Having said the above, probably, I am in a better position to state my reason for calling you ‘Uncle,’ the same way that I addressed her sister wholeheartedly without even knowing who she is. It is my style; way of respect, recognition, admiration, acceptance and way of getting closer and connected.

Calling you uncle is not only a sign of respect for your maturity and openness for dialogue, but probably more to dislodge some shady characters who jumped on your neck, mistaking you for some ill, as well trying to misrepresent you then. The truth remains you survived time, so, humiliatingly whether an open apology or not, it remains to be seen you are you. Honestly, I didn’t know your age and never tried to know even who you were. To me, it was your words that touched me.

From that get go, I observed your manner of online activism, day-in, day-out, and I even become more attracted to your hope-giving spirit, indifference to those pussycats turned gypsy were-wolves who didn’t survive by their hit-and-run. Whether openly stated or not, everyone is a benefactor to everyone, and it is an interdependent relationship. So in essence, it is only nice to have a diversified culture that recognizes all and sundry without judgment on their opinions. That canopy-umbrella of ‘acceptance’ is the biggest admiration you won from me over the past months of interaction. Your consistency in preaching true Islam probably won you my biggest crown.

By the way, thank you for all your encouragement and love. In turn, for the sake of God, I love you. One thing I can say for certain, my other uncles (the Baldehs) will never be jealous of this shared love. haaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Yero
