the aprc is not a political stretegic problem but a tactical problem.the
political strategic problem for me  lies in a post aprc period.

"We have to be realistic in dealing with the new government."
the government is not new because it has all the foundamental qualitative
and quantitative characristics of the its original foundation.

"We must respect the wish of the Gambian people and find alternatives in
seeking justice."

the gambia people have never been allow to express their wishes for the past
centures as regards who their leaders should be.all major leaders of the
gambia from immediate pre-colonial period to date have taken power by force
or power was transfered to them by  stronger masters to ensure loyalty.

from its very origin, nature and development from july 22 1994 to date they
have disrespected the wishes of the people-they deserves no respect and
because of their very brutal nature there should be no illusion about
alternatives but to explore all means necessary.

"On another substantive nature, we have to give the APRC
government the will to lead the Gambian people."

the aprc and their external instigators took by threat of force state power
and maintained it by brute force,it had nothing to do with the wishes of the
people then and now.this characteristic is not a quality that is given but a
state of peoples oriented conciousness , selfless devotion,sacrifice and
competence.

"Please let us put our country first."

in reality the land and people call gambia never belonged to the people for
the past centuries.it has for the past centuries experienced one of
histories most brutal oppression.unless gambia is liberated we cannot call
it our country but a land sea and people under internal and external enemy
control.this wasthe reality inthe post 1965 period and is in the post 1994
period.

"Let us respect the office of the president."

following your advice only leads to surrender.if you were to advice the
president before july 22 1994 as regards the ppp president he would have
taken you to be abnormal.

"Whether we like it or not, yahya is our leader.We must remain a loyal
opposition."

we can only be loyal to the peoples dignity, survival and interest every
thing else in opposition to this is betrayal.
