Mr. Jallow:

While you have a right to an opinion, petty divisions should no longer be tolerated in our stance for a unilateral and an unconditional coalition. The opposition has nothing to reconcile for, but to embrace ideas for the good of the Gambia.

I hope you can come to the realization that we are thirsty for change. We must rise above petty politics. Long live the coalition, and down with the AFRPC.

Naphiyo,
Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh

I would suggest CONCILIATION rather than COALITION...the latter sounds
too antagonistic and hints another virulent power struggle. The
current talk about an "Opposition Coalition" is far from reality, and
there are several huddles to be negotiated before anything
materializes. And this will never happen as of now.

I have learned from reliable sources that some members of the
Opposition are currently aiding and abetting a rebellion within the
Gambia so that Senegal can use the situation as a pretext to attack the
Gambia. I know that there are some sleeper elements within the Gambian
diaspora that would not hesitate to use the "Save the Gambia Fund" or
any other bogus drive as another cover to finance terrorist acivities
in the Gambia, and I strongly believe that the Gambia Government has
already urged the US to look into their activities. Some of them even
had the audacity to call Pres. Jammeh whilst on invitation to the US
and threaten his life. This is just the tip of the ice-berg Mr.
Conteh, and your "opposition coalition" is under a microscopic watch.
APRC has nothing to fear because some opposition leaders will never
associate themselves with terror- they know better.

Ebou
