Malik,

I understand your sentiments and I share them but for now,what we have is as
you express them.The late great Osagyfo said "political independence when
not linked to economic independence is sham".We have been in a situation of
sham Independence for quite sometime now.We the younger generation should
change that and I believe we are making progress but the main problem of
Africa, not Gambia alone ,is unending
conflicts,corruption,and the absence of the rule of law.The primary
contribution to these ailments are selfishness, lack of dialogue ,and
we don't constructively engage each other.
