Jabou,
They quoted me too but called me Yusupha Jallow.  Praises to Allah, because
knowing the precarious situation my mother is in, she might not have been
able to handle the pressure.

On the other hand, it is a good thing that our views are getting press time.
But I think that the Independent has now shifted its focus from criticism of
the Jammeh regime to the Gambia-L.  Has the independent done an about face
and made a deal with the devil in order to escape the heat from the ruling
junta?  I am beginning to think along those lines.
