Ladies and Gents:

I think that Malanding's post the other day proposing that we divide the list
into different categories is a good one. I would also like to propose a
"filter option" which would allow list members to block any email address
(via Gambia-L page) they do not wish to receive email from. These two changes
would go a long way towards easing the burden on the list managers.

Just as a starting point, I suggest that we divide the list into the
following options:
All (This would allow a subscriber to receive all topics)
Politics (Local and International)
Sports ( Football preferably) - :)
Gambia + Africa related issues (nonpolitical)
Bantaba Talk ( All sorts of frivolous talk including jokes etc.)

I surely do not have all the answers but hopefully this will help.

Yus
