Sisters Ndey and Ya Soffie:

I am very saddened to have learnt of the sudden death of a dear sister, Ms.
Satang Jobarteh.

My family and I hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to you, and to the
bereaved family in the Gambia, on this sad loss.

Satang's untimely death is no doubt a blow to the Women's movement in The
Gambia in particular, and Africa in general, but we take consolation in the
fact that the invaluable contributions she made to the struggle will never
go in vain, despite her short life.

She will be surely missed, but will be remembered as a good debater and as a
person who passionately believed in justice, equality (women's rights in
particular) and fair play.

May her soul rest in peace.

Regards
Ebrima

PS: Ndey: Also do extend our sincere condolences to Bisi, on this sad loss.
