Micheal,
With all due respect, I do not understand your position with respect to the Y2K issue in The Gambia.It  almost seems as if you are an apologist for Gamtel or something. Excuses like the calling cards were not Y2K compatible and that the Swedish switchboards were too saturated and were looking for a scapegoat in Gamtel  are absurd.   You should not resort to half truths to get your point across.
This is not a personal attack but just from a neutral observer trying to discern the truth from half truths.
