Beran and Jabou

Thanks for taking on Tombong on this issue. I only
have one reservation in this debate since I asked
Tombong Saidy two simple and straight forward
questions but only one was partialy answered. Just to
refresh your memory, I asked Tombong whether he will
stop APRC from manipulating the GRTS, but once again
he has tried to ignore me. This unanswered question is
quite relevant as we head up for October 2001. At
present, APRC is using the GRTS as a propaganda
machine for the forthcoming elections-, NO PROBLEM
WITH SO LONG AS OTHER PARTIES ARE GIVEN THE SAME
OPPORTUNITY . To justify my point, go through the
archives of www.allafrica. com and see what I am
talking about. Saihou Sisay and Musu Kebba Drammeh's
Political rally held last weekend was reported on
GRTS. Can you imagine Tombong and his crew doing the
same thing for Ousainou Darboe when he returns back to
the Gambia? How about showing Fabakary Kolir's
defection to UDP on GRTS, This man has said a lot
about his reasons for leaving the APRC and the Gambian
Public should be enlightened about it, why did n't
Tombong allow GRTS to record the rally in which so
many APRC supporters defected to UDP? How come it is
now standard practice for UDP defectors to be paraded
on TV, What about Musa Suso's conviction of Drug
Trafficking ? Was it announced on GRTVS ? No because
it is an embarassment to APRC.

I hope you all see what I am trying to get at.

Thanks

Sanusi
