Hi fellas:
I just wanted to chirp in on Charles Sam for a moment.

While I am not familiar with his political leanings, I first knew who
Charles' was back in 1980 when his mother taught me in elementary school. As
per his mom, she was an excellent teacher and encouraged me to be the best I
could be, especially where it concerned Mathematics.

My memory of Charles is a bit hazy, perhaps because of the fact that it was
so long ago, however I recall one particular incident about this guy really
strongly:
He was employed back then in the trawler industry and during one of his trips
the boat he was employed on sank at sea. But miraculously Charles survived,
to the relief of everyone, especially given the fact that his mom had been so
distraught she was unable to teach us.

I have not had much time to review Charles' comments, but I figured putting
things in a bit of perspective might help. And finally, I do think that
Charles is a citizen of The Gambia by now.
