Dear Haruna,

You can't Bet on this My brother. Am really not too excited on the cyber. But my long silence will normally be ponctuated by some occasional postings. However, i watch out for your postings with keen interest. You fit the kind of profile i look out for in an academic. Your ability to sail beyond sentiments that narrow our thinkings, to, say; our religions, our tribes, our clans, our families, is a trait i think so many need to copy from you.

Religious Crusader? No! No! No! Call me a moral crusader, and you probably be right my brother. My love for peace is a passion i live with daily. You can imagine how devastated i am right now as extraordionary acts of violence and bloodshed spread through Kenya.

Sober? Oh Yes brother! I don't drink alcohol. We grew up i a muslim community. I remember fondly the primary school days when my classmates will make fund of me as a drinker. I quit at that early age and never did i went back to the habit. Later, i was preaching it in the Church. But the topic could be defended either way using the Bible. For now, i will refrain from telling other christains not to drink. For me, it is a done deal. I love the world with no drink, no smoke, no night club, etc. Don't get me wrong here, music should always be in abundance though.

Where are you writing from anyway? No too big on this?

I do not take issues personally. As u can see from above, an i hope i can make a profound impact on the lives of others.

Hey Haruna, i wish you all the best. Take care and stay on the message. May Allah Bless you!

Pa Pierre,

Thank you for expressing your your concern at my seeming irreverence toward

Jesus. I present the full sentence here for you again: [I ask him to declare a

day of mourning for the fires in California and he gives us a day of what

for baby Yahya????Jesus friggin Christ. I'm calling state house on monday and

somebody better pick-up. Holiday my foot."

Indeed I express similar awe and confoundment (not irreverence) by saying

Muhammad friggin Muhammad, Jesus friggin Muhammad, etc. I deliberately DO NOT

SAY Freaking, not that the word freak is necessarily irreverent, but

association of freak with anyone (not just jesus or Muhammad) would tantamount to

qualification of their person. I haven't met either. And because my disposition

usually is expression of utter surprise and awe, in REVERENCE.

I am terribly sorry you found irreverence in Friggin I presume. It is a term

of endearment for me. Sort of like saying Pa Friggin Pierre. or Haruna

Friggin Darbo. I imagine if friggin would rally the CHristian Ummah and the Muslim

Ummah to carnage and pillory, they will have started in the churches and

mosques. I hope you don't get so excited as to start a religious crusade on

friggin. It is good to hear you however for I haven't heard you for quite some

time, since Posten. I remembered you more sober then. I hope your new year is

starting out well. Best wishes to the family and your Christian bretheren. May

the lord keep and guide you.

Haruna Friggin Jesus. Where are you writing from anyway? You are a good

soul. I think you'll enjoy the recounting of the passover. The prophets do have a

sense of humor afterall. Easy breezy bro. Check you later aligator. Ifanang

ibe bantanbilly la friggin lela??? Kori hera??

Dear Haruna,

The fact that christianity won't police itself does not justify this

irreverent use of the name of Jesus Christ

The fact that christians won't go on the rampage to in honour of Jesus

Christ does not justify this

The fact that Christians themselves bring dishonour to the name of their

Lord does not justify your phrase

The fact that Americans use the name of Jesus in a disrespectful way cannot

excuse this phrase

Anyway, Haruna, i am not a religious watch dog. I raised this matter out of

curiousity. Cus the same remark directed at some other religions may result

in untold catastrophie and loss of life. We should not celebrate IRREVERENCE.

Others view irreverence as a catalyst for a bloody showdown. As i conclude,

i want to remind everyone that peace is not only susatined by what we did

not say, but it is largely sustained by how much we are prepared to tolerate

from each other. My message in short is TOLERANCE.

Pa-Pierre

HAPPY 2008

This is over the top. Men. Do these people have anything better to do? I

guess not. Yahya should save us these circuses. Men. I ask him to declare a

day

of mourning for the fires in California and he gives us a day of what for

baby

Yahya????Jesus friggin Christ. I'm calling state house on monday and

somebody better pick-up. Holiday my foot.
