Ms. Satang Jobarteh:

Your posting got my curiosity. Accumulation of arms only create instability
and lack of priorities. Education and health should be "numeror uno", but
many African leaders choose to accumulate arms to protect themselves.

I have to be frank with you. For the sake of The Gambia, Sir Dawda has to be
blamed for creating an army in The Gambia. I would rather have the
expenditure for an army use for education and health than an agency that is a
deterrent to our stability and economic development. Remember, an army
created tyrant dictator yahya jemus.

Comrade,

Muhammad Lamine Jassey-Conteh
