How on earth could it be a "Love story" when the victim was a slave who had absolutely no powers to resist a relationship imposed on to her even if she should have wanted to? I would want to believe that there was no love in Sally`s heart for Jefferson, and she must have hated the man and prayed that God killed him for molesting her.
