Sidi,

You are so right. In all of these political  games and neglect, it si only
the ordinary folks who suffer, struggling to provide for their families on a
daily basis. The strange thing is that if one tries to advocate for them,
then you become the bad guy. May Allah grant us excellence of character in
our leaders as well as in each one of us so that we can truely work toward a
common goal that will be good for all of us as a whole.
I hope you can make contact with your loved ones. I have a few good friends
who are residents of Casamance, and I have also been trying to contact
relatives in Dakar who know these people to find out if they or any realtives
of theirs' were involved in this tragedy.
I do think the suthorities in Senegal have acted honourably in the face of
this tragedy.
