Folks,
Well...whoever propagates tribal sentiments via misinterpretation is
morally-bankrupt and harbours a poisonous mind!
Shyngle Nyassi also is a jola and he is one of the UDP stalwarts. So being a
jola and using that as an OBJECTIVE justification to convince others to
reject the regime back home isn't enough for Yero. At the same time trying
to take it as a smart deviation makes me see through a cunning character.

The researchers at CODESRIA in Dakar did file special reports on the
Hutu/Tutis war,the same goes for what other researchers have in Paris and
elsewhere so the Rwandan example isn't a raw apple for some of us either.Few
days ago we have heard and seen Belgians apologising for having killed
Lumumba! The ethnic part of the DRC war was an 'outlet' created after the
cold war era.Mobutu came into existence as a result of the jig-saw puzzle
that was created by the Belgians and the CIA during the cold war.Because
Lumumba was threat to their ECONOMIC INTEREST IN THAT AREA!
The KGB were also there...isn't it a scenario like that, some movie
producer tried to simply in the film entitled THE DOGS OF WAR?! The So DRC
is a prey for the forces concerned because of the GOLD MINES AND THATS THE
TRUTH! So using ethnic difference was blanket from other corners please give
us a long break on that!

Indeed ethnocentric feelings have played a part in the war that
Kabila(senior)started but that was a PATH he deliberately used by playing
with the minds of those RWANDANS WHO saw Mobutu as a threat! Kabila
profiteered on that in order to be able to quench his thirst!
Didn't he try using what he accused Mobutu of just after few months when he
came to power.
Where is he now? He died because of what he himself created.Be informed that
the day Kabila died i was in Yaounde Cameroon and sitting next to the DRC
delegation!
As i always tell some of u world politics goes beyond ITN OR CNN SCREENS!

After slavery Africa went through colonialism, some of you know that more
than i do.
What did we see? Those who colonised us using direct, indirect rule or
assimilation to control us!
The agents within our midst were AFRICANS.
Later on we saw the neo-colonial or cold war era, then again the
'controleurs' used ideological differences to seperate us.We saw African
Marxists! Leninists! capitalists! and a lot of other isms and ists!
Well now that those heart-breaking methods are understood we have seen some
of us blindy accepting statistics based on ethnic groups. The machinery that
studies us and reads our cultures knows how to manipulate some of our minds
even whereas some of us still think that we are Wild wild west Peter pipers
etc.
Lets sit and think of one thing ie: the form that Chinua Achebe filled at a
given airport in Europe.Achebe was given a form and on it there was a column
that marked RACE! Achebe unlike other passengers wrote HUMAN. Surprisingly
the police (EUROPEAN WHITE POLICE FOR THAT MATTER)were furious and said that
he was playing with them because they were convinced that he should have
written BLACK RACE or what?! There and then one can understand that
racism, tribalism etc isn't purely African! No!
You see the Rwanda war was started by the French and many researchers have
agreed that they used the tribal feelings of those Africans who were
intoxicated by that 'abstract drug' to move on!
Ethnic cleansing isn't African it has unfortunatelty been made African
through power hungry and so-called African intellectuals.I believe in what
one sociologist said and that is;"the best way to do away with tribalism is
not to even talk about it!" FULL STOP!
At the end of day Pierre Mendy Yahya's closest aid isn't A JOLA!
I am not defending anyone here please i am just trying to let us see the
difference between the comparisons that are being thrown into this forum and
  what the actual findings are.
What brought Rwanda's war? what brought Liberia's war? what brought
Saleone's war? Indeed there are answers but believe me no answer can exactly
match the current situation in the Gambia!
In all these wars we saw and heard about tribalism but the underlying
factors are ECONOMICAL ONES!
There are a lot of other CDroms and documentaries that people have seen
which do show the reality that brought those wars!
The Taliban are students who came to power thru a cold war network but the
regime in the Gambia are soldiers who came to power thru a social explosion
when social justice was absent in a decent country!
Please show me the similarities then we will open a book on these wars and
their causes whilst attempting to d o what our teachers used to call compare
and contrast.
Be my guest if anyone is ready to debate this topic, especially on issues
relating to your wild "sermons"!
