Bus from NY to go visit with Batch Samba Njie at Wesleyan Univ, in
Connecticutt, and had a very nice weekend there. It was obvoius his
professors were mesmerized by his brilliance there in the chemistry
department.May they both rest in peace.
Yes, the student activism of the late 60's and early 70's was something else,
and like you, i will not trade those times for anything else.Even at our very
conservative college, we held our sit-ins.
The Joe who was at Cloumbia is not Goddard, and i still can't believe that i
forgot his last name.

Jabou, the Joe you're referring to is Joe Bruce together with Francis
"Degaule" Njie.all were at Columbia. I stayed with Joe at bernard hall before
moving to ohio. At that same time ousu "O" Drammeh, Pa Baboucarr Joof, Abdou
Jallow were living it up in the mid-west, Chicago to be exact. Yes indeed
those were the good old days. I remember leaving Columbia one day with Micheal
"Cherno" Baldeh along with Minki Janneh and got into trouble at parkside ave
in Brooklyn. I also remember the spent in Boston with Matarr and adi Njie
along with Michelle "Sagarr" mendy, the late Assi N'doye and Yatunde Mahoney.
You sure brought back some memories.
