Last names in The Gambia do not denote tribal affiliation. In fact one needs
to be careful in using tribal lines to forward their intended support for the
dictatorship in The Gambia. One also cannot categorically professed that the
late Mr. Manneh and captive Sanneh plotted to overthrow the illegal
government in The Gambia. It is tragic that innocent lives had to be lost
for the sake of dictator yahya jemus.

I agree that not all Jolas are benefiting under dictator jemus. In fact
dictator yahya jemus raised tribal sentiment only to safeguard his selfish
ego. What is happening in the Gambia is that, at every opportunity some
individuals are raising the tribal flag. It is a shame that this crude
ideology of tribal identification has pitted friends against each other. Let
us debate about issues. Let us raise issues about the lack of leadership in
The Gambia, and constant dismissal of innocent Gambians. A true leader
mainstains to increase the family tree. Unfortunately, dictator yahya jemus
is gradually destroying the very tree he promised to obey. We are no tribe,
but a group of Gambians who are dedicated to a lasting peace in The Gambia.

We cannot, however, sit idle and let this mad man destroy our peaceful and
loving culture. Dictator yahya jemus might be the immature and confuse
person today, but he may not last long. There are signs that Gambians are
becoming increasing tired of his lack of leadership and disrespect for
humanity. Our country cannot afford any second of this dictator.

Dictator yahya jemus, let my people go.
