Wait just a minute. Did you just call me a silly uncle Mbye? I will not be
pleased with you if you do. Ibe Takki lade!! Bahna.

Anyways, I think this Jinn thing is a Muslim phenomenon. Share with me your
thoughts when you read Suratul Jinn as our brother Suntou entreats. Bear in
mind what you know about viruses as you read. I am dead serious Mbye. Remmember
I'm a Hafithul Half Qur'an. You're funny yourself and you don't even know
it. It's like our friend who in response to YayiNana's dead serious Depression
notes, came out talkin about friggin fish money. It was so serious it was
funny and I am still laughing for no friggin reason. I don't even know that guy
but I love him and YayiNana too. Speaking of YN. WHere's she at? I miss her.
She can be so funny herself. You just don't know I', the most serious guy on
Ellen. What about Kukeh and Demba. And Yero and Laye (Dalasi). What about
Galleh? And Badjan? I don't wanna hear it about me being a silly uncle. In fact
if you continue I'll be forced to denounce you as nephew. Stripping you of
all privileges to call me uncle. And I will record the denunciation in my local
courts.

Where's Suratul Jinn anyway? Page 769 of Marmaduke Pickthall's version
bilingual edition SUNY Press, commissioned by the Sultan Ul Uloom Nawab Sir Mir
Osman Ali Khan Babadur, Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar. See you later Mbye.

Haruna. Your handsome uncle. Yeah which uncle is handsomer??? I can't hear
you.

Very humbling revelations Suntou. The Jinn particularly bear a marked
resemblance to viruses. The known and unknown about them. It is striking.
Just
wondering out loud. Creative loafing perhaps. You and Mbye could be at the
cusp
of cutting-edge science here to share the codes that scientists have been
baffled by for centuries. Wouldn't that be awesome?!.

Haruna.

Haruna, you know what, as you know better than me, the scientific world are
still working hard to make a break through in many ailments affecting the
animal kingdom. there are no answers to some of those problem.
God make it clear that there are some things we have no understanding of.
in
the mental hospitals, all the doctors could do sometimes is to make the mad
people less violent. they cannot cure them. how do explain those? also the
whole concept of depression, what singular issue is responsible for it?
this
are trouble questions scientist are working hard on.
so it is not only the Jinn issue that humans are finding difficult to
understand, many other every day issues. Like for instance when some people
kill or
commit murder, they confess to hearing voices. have you ever heard of this
cases? finally, are we as humans in complete control of our mind?

Suntou, Mbye,

I am following your conversation and writhing with ominous glee. Suntou I
think our brother Sey is onto som'n. Could Jinns be viruses???? its worth
further study. Ebola, the Human immuno-deficiency Virus, Bird Flu, Denghe,
Mad
Cow, etc. and on account of their mutative attributes (camouflage). I
wonder!!

BTW, I ain't marrying nobody I can't friggin see. Fire up the friggin Kiln
Mbye! What a wonderful weekend!

Thanks Mr Sey for asking this questions.
I am assuming that you are a Muslim, if i am wrong please correct me. if
you
are, then i will refer you to certain verses of the Quran and specifically
to a chapter talking about the existence of jinns and how the manipulate
some
people.
Jinns are another creation of God the most high. they came from their won
ancestor just like we as humans came from Adam and Eve. Jinns came from a
creature referred to as Iblis or the Devil or Satan.
read quran chapter 2 verse 34, chapter 7 verse 11-18, chapter 15 verse
31-44, chapter 17 verse 61-65, chapter 18 verse 50, chapter 20 verse
116-120,
chapter 34 verse 20-21, and chapter 38 verse 71-85.
and also chapter 5 verse 91, chapter 7 verses 200-201, chapter 114 verses
4-6, chapter 20 verse 120, and finally, chapter 7 verses 20,21,27,175.

Brother Sey, read this verses. The quran abundantly warm mankind against
our
mortal enemy the devil and his off-springs.
now coming to your questions

1. What dose jinns look like humans or animals birds ?
truly i don't know how Jinns look like. what is evident in many hadiths or
narration of the prophet of Islam is that, Jinns can take the form many
creatures, especially dogs, cats, snake, birds and even humans. there are
base of
deception, so they can take a form necessary for them to be able to deceive
their targets. those who incant their names can tell us may be how their
Jinns
appear to them. there have been many narration by people in the Gambia of
people going mad due to seeing a certain Jinn they were calling. this is
best
known as too leeeya muta (the name as made him crazy.) quiet a lot of young
would be marabouts go crazy due to this phenomenon. so jinn can feel a room

in a
Snake form or a big bird very scary to the caller.
according to other sources, Jinn answer to people with the right age, so if
one due to greed wish to have a jinn answer to him, and his age is below
the
required limit, you may go mad.
the Ahamadiyas. dispute there being a Jinn, but i would rather believe in
explanation of the noble prophet of Islam, than the ahamadiya folks.

2. How do they live and were do they eat and drink like us ?
some hadiths stated that Jinn, live in a parallel world to us. they dwell
in
remote places, since we cannot see them, they pick through dirt and
uncovered food. this is why a strong tradition exist among Muslims to make
sure food
is covered and that before night fall, children are brought indoors. Jinns
eat and drink in ways God made possible for them but you can conduct
further
reading in that aspect. in fact there is judo-Christan explanation of
demons
around as well.

3. Are they Muslims Christians or whatever?
the quran states that some Jinns are muslims and some are not. some also
state that jinn hear the word of god from the environment they dwell. so if

they
become convince about Christianity, they may adopt it just like we humans
do.
4. What languages do they speak?
i don't know the language they speak among themselves. what is clear is
that
they communicate with people who invoke them in that person's language.
5. How comes we can see them and they can see us?
may be you wanted to say, "how comes we can't see them and they can see
us".
to this i would say, this is the wishes of God, that i have no answer to.
God does what he wills. he made lions, different, tigers, and even we
humans,
we are different. some us are white, some are brown, black and yellow.
6. Can we marry (husband/wife) jinns and have children with them?
people made remarks to that effect, there are some narrations that some
people marry Jinns. but what the Islamic stand point is that, we are
forbidden in
marrying Jinn. we are not the same make-up. they are created form fire and
we from clay. it is not suppose to happen. i haven't read any text stating
whether people marry jinns. but it is a common saying in the Gambia that
some
people have Jinn woman.
7. Are all jinns wicked towards human beings?
not all jinn are wicked. the quran states that some Jinn are Muslims and
obey the revelation. they come and listen to the recitation of the quran.
the
majority obeys their ancestor the Satan who rebel against God.
8. if so why do hate us?
i gave the reason for that on mt earlier thread "our relationship with the
Satan as humans".
thank you brother Sey for asking, i appreciate it. my intention is just to
clarify a practise which is chronic in our region. i do not intend to
tarnish
or castigate any one. if we see evil, our intentions should be to remove.
May
Allah forgive me and continue to guide us. amen. the errors are mine.
